  1. Otilia Fritsch

One of the best ab benches on the market (and trust me there aren’t many out there unless you are willing to spend thousands)This bench is sturdy, strong and official. You will not be disappointed. And for the price that you are getting it for, its a steal. My wife purchased this for my birthday and I will use it everyday like is my birthday!!!!!

  2. Wilhelmine Wilkinson

This product is so well made it is like something you would find in a gym. The biggest complaints are the assembly instructions. As my wife will tell you I am no “handy man”, but I really had very little problem putting it together. The instructions are a one page diagram. I will give it to Valor they are the masters of being concise (short & sweet). I had a good laugh after reading the reviews and looking at this one page diagram. Just look at the diagram as puzzle crossing off each number as you progress. Make sure you review the nuts and bolts diagram. It makes sense after a while. Again the construction is commercial grade. I did no see the metal dust some reviewers complained about. The delivered product is heavy and UPS beat the hell out the box but there was no internal damage. I can strongly recommend this product.

  3. Blair Homenick

I read all these reviews, and this bench is awesome. Maybe they changed up the manufacturing, but there is no messy powder coating or anything like that at all. Very simple clean install. Anyone who has ever put together a bench knows now to expect a detailed step by step instruction. The diagram included is perfect and assembly was simple and easy. Very sturdy bench. I’ve already bought another Valor brand rack.

I have to say that I am very impressed with this bench. If you have ever worked out in any of the major gyms in the U.S. this bench will be what you are used to working out on. It has a nice steep decline that rivals the two extreem decline benches in the third section of Gold’s Gym out in Venice Beach California. This extreem decline will help me to enhance the definition in the lower pecs as well as give my inversion table a break when doing abdominal work. Using the bench from the opposite end will give me a solid as well as stable base for going Glute-bridges. I have no worries of this bench being able to support my bodyweight of about 200 pounds plus 200 in dumbbells or 405 in barbell weight. Not pictured are the wheels which will make moving it around a much easier task. I would reccommend this bench to anyone putting together a home based gym. There are two reasons that I knocked a star off of the rating for this bench. For one there is a fine bead like substance that appears to be maybe a by-product of the welding or machining of the bench. My advice is to unpackage this bench outside if you don’t want these metal filings or beads in your workout environment. Especially if you have carpet as I can see where it would leave stains. Number two, the instructions are basically non-existent. There is a blow-up schematic and a part count but that is pretty much it. Once you wrap your mind around how it functions you will be good to go. Just lay all of your parts out in the order shown on the blow-up and start brining it together.
