Edit: We were able to tighten it up a bit and use it with the tweens. The kids have had so much fun abusing this product- aka being hard on it. It is lasting just fine, and so it deserves to go up to 5* from 4*.My husband is 6’2″, and on the shortest setting, pull-ups were considerable easier to do. My son who is 5’7″ said it was helpful but he’d rather do them on his own. I’m a 5’5″ wimp, and I can’t do them on my own, and I can’t do them with this tool either. Part of the problem is I don’t think the proportions are right. At the very shortest setting we could fanangle (see last two pictures), it is 51″ in its resting position. The bands are stretchy enough it wasn’t really helpful for me. Various kids of shorter heights said it wasn’t helpful for them either.There are pictures of people using this tool with their knees in the loops, and I really just can’t see how it would be helpful to do that. It was those pictures that made me think this would be helpful for the kids, but alas, it’s just too tall.Having said that, the components themselves are stitched well and seem durable and well-made. The kids have had a ball with this thing as an adapted swing of sorts. They put one leg through each loop and bounce and they’ve had a ball with it. I’m not going to be using this as a pull-up assisting tool. We’ll repurpose it for something else.I’d recommend this to taller friends.
