I’ve used shapers for years under my dresses to help smooth me, but with age and post menopause I have a tummy bulge that shapers don’t diminish really, just smooth out. I saw this and gave it a try to see if I could get a bit more hourglass with dresses etc. I measured my waist and bulge about an inch or so below the natural waistline before and after. Before: 36″ natural waist, bulge 37″ just below it. I followed video’s posted on appropriately looping and stepping into it, placing it around where the hip bone is and wrapped it all the way going upwards. I was shocked! the After measurement: 34″ natural waist, 35″ bulge, a full 2 inch difference! I did it three times to make sure and the same result every time. The next day I wore it like a trainer or if I were to wear it all day with a dress (but with a pant/shirt at home) and it wasn’t bad. It made my front and back smooth and gave me better posture sitting. It did not get in the way of going to the restroom although after the first time I had my undies up over the top of where I started. If you want to use this at the gym like some video’s I think it will do it’s purpose, but just to use it as a shaper for me at least, I saw a huge difference around my waist, which is what I wanted. Looking in the mirror right away you see the difference, and there is no rolling up or down with the way this is designed being wide & long. Several spots to velcro the top according to your size. This is a one size fits all, it is very long but actually easy to wrap around yourself once you start. A good recommend!

This type of Waist Trainer is perfect for people who are short. I’ve always had problems with waist trainers because I am just a little over 5 feet, and other waist trainers would always rise up when I would sit down because they were too long for my short torso. Additionally, if you are relatively short and have big hips, the longer waist trainers probably don’t work well for you. They didn’t for me. This one is the perfect solution for short people. For some reason, manufacturers don’t seem to make them less than 8 inches wide. With this one, you can wrap it as short as you wish and it conforms nicely to your body. You can also wrap it as snuggly as you wish without having to worry about wrecking your fingers trying to snap it into the second or third row of hooks as you lose weight or inches. I’d been waiting for something like this for quite some time, and I highly recommend it to anyone, but particularly to those who are short with a short torso.
